Pull someone out of his/her crisis or/and go through with them, then after tell them how stupid they have been in a comforting manner. That is Love. Aha! That's the challenging aspect. You can stay with a person for 5 years and there are certain things about them that they will never badge on or part with as much as you might not like it and vice versa. So learn to over look a lot about your partner. He/she put up that behavior and kept it for about 18 years [plus] of their lives, 2 years of staying with them and trying to change that behavior is almost impossible without God. 1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Lets end on this note. Be careful what words you use on whoever you are dating or married to. They will take and swallow every pill but may not tolerate insults such 'you are foolish', 'stupid' and other harsh words. They may forgive you but keep it in their banks and will keep reminding you anytime you get them hurt or to the place of remembrance.

May God grant us the grace to love and even love our partners [more] in the fear of God.

Fasting is not merely about seeking God daily and delighting to know His way that makes it profitable (vrs 2) One wrong way to fast is to find pleasure and exact all your labours (v 3). Fasting is not the time to do the things you love and get involved in so many activities. It's a time with the Lord. In some parts of the Bible, fasting is called mourning.
