Our Problems, Social Media and God

When King Hezekiah received the word of GOD that he had to put his house in order since he was about to die, the Bible says, he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD. see2 Kings 20:2

Our generation, when faced with problems, turn to Facebook walls. (that’s where we post our problems)

Others run to change their WhatsApp statuses in order to inform everyone what they are going through.

Others run to twitter, still others rush to tell their friends.

How about we take a lesson from King Hezekiah.

When he was faced with a problem he didn’t go around seeking attention from places which couldn’t help him. He turned his face to the wall and prayed unto the LORD and his prayers were answered that moment.

Our hope is not from Facebook, WhatsApp or any other website.

Our help does not come from people because we may face challenges in life that cannot be resolved by men.

Our hope is in Jesus Christ.

The time and energy used in posting our problems on the internet or telling people must be used to 'tellGOD in prayer.

Psalms 121:1-2
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth."

Cast all your burdens unto Jesus for He cares for you......stay blessed.

Love as Strong as Death - Karabo Moloisi

Song of Solomon 8:6 says 'Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame' Think about this for a moment... You know, when its time for a person to die, there is nothing that person can do to escape it. There is no opinion that death asks from him or her. No negotiations at all. Death has no respect for anyone's dignity or whatever status or position a person holds. Now, the bible says "... Love  is as  Strong  as  Death ..." Same non-negotiable force death comes with. That's how strong this 'Love' is. Once He gets a hold of you, He won't let go. The Unconditional Never Ending Love of God #The_Unconditional_Never_Ending_Love_of_God Also read; Deuteronomy 4:24  24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. Isaiah 49:16 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are...

3 Things Jesus Tells Us about Worry by Mark Altrogge

Jesus had a lot to say about worry. He came into an unstable and unpredictable world. He lived in an agricultural society where one summer’s drought could wipe out crops for the winter. He hung out with fishermen, who might fish all night long and catch nothing to sell or bring home to family. And Jesus knew the human heart and the temptations presented by the cares of this life. So he gave his disciples some excellent instruction on worry in Matthew 6. “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? (25) First, Jesus says God gave us our human life and our bodies without us even asking. Human life and our physical bodies are incredibly valuable. Our life is much more valuable than the food we put on the table; our body far more valuable than the shirt we put on. If God gave us life, which is so very valuable, will he not g...
