Mandate for Double Anointing

One very noticeable reason in scripture for poor or no access to receiving double mandate is  "BAD FOLLOWER-SHIP"

The quest for gain and recognition from the prestige of association is what has bedeviled the concept of following.

The search and quest to know the Spirit by which people operate and to make contacts with it is not the main focus of followers today, unlike the days of old.

see2Kings 2:3. The sons of the prophet drawing the attention of Elisha on the fact that his master will be 'TAKEN AWAY FROM [him] TODAY', I believe was a message of alertness so he can make all the demands he had to make from his master. In all these instances,  Elisha did not act so.

When it became necessary for him for him to demand,  he requested the Spirit of his master and more so a double. Wow!

See2Cor 5:16 Know no man after the flesh. Another scripture says

"for the flesh profiteth nothing" John 6:63

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH A FOLLOWER WHO CANNOT AT A POINT DO SOMETHING IN RESEMBLANCE TO WHAT THEIR LEADER DO.

-The problem is this,  IF YOU FOLLOW ME AND YOU DON'T CARRY/SEEK MY SPIRIT,  YOU CANNOT OPERATE WITH MY MANTLE. IT WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU.

Ask Gehazi if you don't trust me.

The SPIRIT of a MAN leads you to HIS GOD. The MANTLE of a MAN points to HIS WORKS. However,  mantles are powered by the Spirit. NO MANTLE IS SELF SUFFICIENT, SELF FUNCTIONAL AND SELF ABLE.

By seeRomans 8:16, What bears witness or testifies that we are sons of God is not WORKS. It is the SPIRIT.

LET ME DARE SAY THIS...

Not even service is enough reason to qualify FOLLOWING, if it is not with the intent of catching the Spirit of your master or leader other than that forget it,  it will not bless you well. You are wasting your time. The reason is because the one you are serving will expire one day but not his Spirit.

Elisha recognised the GOD OF ELIJAH and not ELIJAH when he demanded the his Spirit. It led Him to discover the GOD of Elijah and that

powered the Mantle to function.

See2Kings 4:30 We are not told of what

Gehazi said when he laid the staff of his master Elisha on the child as directed by his leader but taking inspiration from his character evidenced from his early actions. (2Kings 5:20-23) It's possible he was interested In Working the works of his master without the Spirit of his master. So he missed out on what powers the mantle (In this case,  the rod).

Spirit of a man is fully activated on a follower who is ready to go the full length with him. Such Followers don't quit like that. They follow to the Jordan. They don't look from far and say let's see how he will make it through. They just trust their leader or master has the capacity and backing to perform it. see2Kings 2:7

How to Know with Certainty the Plans God Has for You

All around the prophet Jeremiah, the whole world seemed to be falling apart. His home, his nation, his people—everything continued to slip away. But right in the midst of this dark time, God gave a promise that still fills us with hope today: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11) Perhaps you have come face to face with the sorrow that Jeremiah felt. Perhaps you, too, know what it’s like to see everything fall apart all around you. You know the pain, the uncertainty. But do you know the promise? God gave this pledge to the people of Israel who lived in exile, but it’s no less true to any of us who follow Jesus. He does have a plan and purpose for us that—while not always easy—is assuredly for our good and His glory (Romans 8). So, how can we know this plan He has for us? And how can we walk confidently in it? Listen Up Before God gave this famous promise, He warned the p...

Love as Strong as Death - Karabo Moloisi

Song of Solomon 8:6 says 'Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame' Think about this for a moment... You know, when its time for a person to die, there is nothing that person can do to escape it. There is no opinion that death asks from him or her. No negotiations at all. Death has no respect for anyone's dignity or whatever status or position a person holds. Now, the bible says "... Love  is as  Strong  as  Death ..." Same non-negotiable force death comes with. That's how strong this 'Love' is. Once He gets a hold of you, He won't let go. The Unconditional Never Ending Love of God #The_Unconditional_Never_Ending_Love_of_God Also read; Deuteronomy 4:24  24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. Isaiah 49:16 16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are...
