Maintaining Your Integrity

In all life's pursuit, Integrity is very important. Its a key point to ensuring the success of every individual. [Psalm 100:3].

For you to be valuable in life, to be a successful man or woman, you must acquire Integrity. Lack of Integrity result to failure in life. Now, one of the greatest assets to considered in life is Character. Prayers and fasting are not likely to influence your Character. The only key to unlocking your Character is your decision.

In the realm of substances, we do not enter with ability but integrity. Integrity will take you to where ability cannot. When you allow integrity to enter your heart, you will begin to experience God's attention. It can only be found in the heart.

'As for you, if you will walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that I have commanded you and will keep my statues and my ordinances...' - 1 Kings 9:4-15

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7

Jesus replied, "No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." - Luke 9:62

How Can You Maintain Your Integrity?

You need to be principled. Principles are guiding factors about an issue. You any also say that it is is the way of getting down to get a desired result. Now, Integrity in Hebrew is 'Tom', that means to be complete of uprightness in business. To be found perfect and the quality of been honest and morally upright or living a life of consecration. So in all, the Principle of Integrity is the firm guiding factor that produces or the quality that lead to a state of completeness.

Integrity needs to be develop by your character

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant - Psalm 25:14

Every value system comes from your mind

'...For as he thinks within himself, so he is. He says to you, "Eat and drink!" But his heart is not with you...' - Proverbs 23:7

Do well to develop your character and do it in a Godly way.

Characteristics of Integrity

Commitment of your self to character over personal gain.

You yourselves are our witnesses--and so is God--that we were devout and honest and faultless toward all of you believers. -  1 Thessalonians 2:10

Value people over things and stop valuing things over people.

“I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or clothes. “You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my own needs and to the men who were with me..." - Acts 20:30-34

"Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the LORD and his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed?   From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? If I have done any of these things,  I will make it right."      - 1Samuel 12:3

Live by principles over convenience.

You say, "I am allowed to do anything"--but not everything is good for you. And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything. - 1 Cor 6:12

Render service over power.

But it is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant. “For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.

Luke 22:26-27

Quality of Integrity

Faithfulness. Your attitudes to service.

But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. Numbers 12:7

Humility

For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. - Mathew 32:12

In the same way you younger men must submit to your elders; and all of you must gird yourselves with humility towards one another, for God sets Himself against the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

1 Peter 5:5-6

Honest communication

Let no one despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Transparency

I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me,- John 14:30

Let integrity be your best friend and a friend to your friends. Remember, a man without Integrity is a Failure and a man who has Integrity is always loved and encourages and will turn out to be an effective leader.

As for you,

if you will walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that I have commanded you and will keep My statutes and My ordinances, then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, just as I promised to your father David, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.’-1 Kings 9:4-5

Love as Strong as Death - Karabo Moloisi

Song of Solomon 8:6 says 'Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame' Think about this for a moment... You know, when its time for a person to die, there is nothing that person can do to escape it. There is no opinion that death asks from him or her. No negotiations at all. Death has no respect for anyone's dignity or whatever status or position a person holds. Now, the bible says "... Love  is as  Strong  as  Death ..." Same non-negotiable force death comes with. That's how strong this 'Love' is. Once He gets a hold of you, He won't let go. The Unconditional Never Ending Love of God #The_Unconditional_Never_Ending_Love_of_God Also read; Deuteronomy 4:24  24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. 3 Things Jesus Tells Us about Worry by Mark Altrogge

Jesus had a lot to say about worry. He came into an unstable and unpredictable world. He lived in an agricultural society where one summer’s drought could wipe out crops for the winter. He hung out with fishermen, who might fish all night long and catch nothing to sell or bring home to family. And Jesus knew the human heart and the temptations presented by the cares of this life. So he gave his disciples some excellent instruction on worry in Matthew 6. “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? (25) First, Jesus says God gave us our human life and our bodies without us even asking. Human life and our physical bodies are incredibly valuable. Our life is much more valuable than the food we put on the table; our body far more valuable than the shirt we put on. If God gave us life, which is so very valuable, will he not g...
