Fighting God

We can say for a fact that most of the inequalities of life and the negativity we see on earth are created by men. However, there are many things that happen and we can simply not explain[no matter how hard we try].

There are many questions on the minds of people fueled by their experiences, the things they see and the day-to-day challenges they encounter which are sometimes no fault of theirs. These questions typically begin with "why this..." or "why that..." and are accompanied with hours of prayers that sometimes does not produce immediate results. More so, there are many other issues you may have come across and you simply asked [the question], “...if there is a God, then where was He?...".

We have to understand [and appreciate the fact that], the best way to understand God is not to understand Him. This is because you cannot use the simplicity of human wisdom to explain His [character, manner of doing things and] greatness.

Isaiah 55:9

"As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts"

Looking at the life of Jesus, it tells us a lot. That as long as we live, when we trust the Lord, we can have all the things we need pertaining to life. Not only the material needs of life but the spiritual strength that drives us to moving on in life no matter the issues we may face.

When it’s time to cry, cry and when it’s time to be happy, be happy [with yourself]. Challenges will always come but you must have the grace to face it. You cannot have all things right because failure is part of life’s journey. It sharpens your understanding, sometimes, over the things you once couldn’t handle well or took for granted.

Faulty people can always be better off than people who are [thought to be] whole.

Many people fight God for many reasons that are [sometimes] unimportant. Instead of fighting God, know that fighting Him also means accepting the fact that you won’t understand all but he will make you sufficient in what you need per the situation and time.

We cannot wage war and win against the things we do not understand - N.Essel

We have to understand that the supreme power that made the universe has one way or the other willed it to be so. Let us not lose hope over our challenges and short comings as to "why this" or "why that". You cannot have all things go your way. But accepting the “nature” of God gives you understanding and grace to all the things we see on earth. When we fight God with complains and questions, let us remember His word that tells us that ….

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"- Phil 4:6-7

Your questions to God and your complains should be on your knees and giving thanks as you present your issues to the father. Behold, there you find peace, which you won’t also understand but it will solve all your problems as simple as that. Things may not change but his 'Peace' gives you that rest that keeps you going. Hallelujah!

Let’s end the fight against God but rather, pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

God richly bless you for reading and sharing.

Love as Strong as Death - Karabo Moloisi

Song of Solomon 8:6 says 'Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame' Think about this for a moment... You know, when its time for a person to die, there is nothing that person can do to escape it. There is no opinion that death asks from him or her. No negotiations at all. Death has no respect for anyone's dignity or whatever status or position a person holds. Now, the bible says "... Love  is as  Strong  as  Death ..." Same non-negotiable force death comes with. That's how strong this 'Love' is. Once He gets a hold of you, He won't let go. The Unconditional Never Ending Love of God #The_Unconditional_Never_Ending_Love_of_God Also read; Deuteronomy 4:24  24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. 3 Things Jesus Tells Us about Worry by Mark Altrogge

Jesus had a lot to say about worry. He came into an unstable and unpredictable world. He lived in an agricultural society where one summer’s drought could wipe out crops for the winter. He hung out with fishermen, who might fish all night long and catch nothing to sell or bring home to family. And Jesus knew the human heart and the temptations presented by the cares of this life. So he gave his disciples some excellent instruction on worry in Matthew 6. “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? (25) First, Jesus says God gave us our human life and our bodies without us even asking. Human life and our physical bodies are incredibly valuable. Our life is much more valuable than the food we put on the table; our body far more valuable than the shirt we put on. If God gave us life, which is so very valuable, will he not g...
