3 Stages of Spiritual Warfare- Proph. Joshua Dsane

Joel 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

1. Proclaim that they should prepare for war - Every spiritual warfare starts with a realization that you are in a warfare and making the necessary preparations. Most believers today skip this primary stage of preparing. If it's sickness you are warring against, prepare your faith with the right scriptures, positive declarations, etc.

2. Wake up the mighty - This is the commonest stage in the body of Christ. We are in a haste to wake up the mighty when we ourselves haven't prepared. However after preparing, you must awake mighty men of spiritual authority to assist you and not to do everything for you.

3. Let all the men draw near and come up - After you wake up the mighty, both must now appear before the Lord of host. We draw near by prayer and supplications but we come up through fasting. You need both to get the results you desire. You may draw near and be freed but until you come up to the realm where demons are not allowed, that problem can return.

#It's time to make war against anything that has kept you bound and stagnant.

The Wrong Way to Fast- Proph. Joshua Dsane

Fasting is not merely about seeking God daily and delighting to know His way that makes it profitable (vrs 2) One wrong way to fast is to find pleasure and exact all your labours (v 3). Fasting is not the time to do the things you love and get involved in so many activities. It's a time with the Lord. In some parts of the Bible, fasting is called mourning. Another wrong way to fast is for strife and debate and to smite (v 4). Fasting must kill the flesh and not empower it. It's not the time to quarrel, fight and argue.
