Proclaim that they should prepare for war - Every spiritual warfare starts with a realization that you are in a warfare and making the necessary preparations. Most believers today skip this primary stage of preparing. If it's sickness you are warring against, prepare your faith with the right scriptures, positive declarations, etc. 2. Wake up the mighty - This is the commonest stage in the body of Christ. We are in a haste to wake up the mighty when we ourselves haven't prepared. However after preparing, you must awake mighty men of spiritual authority to assist you and not to do everything for you. 3. Let all the men draw near and come up  - After you wake up the mighty, both must now appear before the Lord of host. We draw near by prayer and supplications but we come up through fasting. Colossians  4:6, Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. One of the commonest setbacks of people's breakthroughs and opportunities is how they respond. The way you speak can open and close so many doors in your life. There are times you speak rudely to people only to find out they could have been a blessing to you. You must learn to speak with grace as long as you continue the walk of faith because God will use those words to bring you before great men and women. #A right response can win the heart of people easily and earn you so much respect.

Fasting is not merely about seeking God daily and delighting to know His way that makes it profitable (vrs 2) One wrong way to fast is to find pleasure and exact all your labours (v 3). Fasting is not the time to do the things you love and get involved in so many activities. It's a time with the Lord. In some parts of the Bible, fasting is called mourning. Another wrong way to fast is for strife and debate and to smite (v 4). Fasting must kill the flesh and not empower it. It's not the time to quarrel, fight and argue. Cardinal scripture : Isaiah 58:1-14 all sentences are paraphrased from this verse #Doing the usual things and expecting results from fasting is impossible. #Don't just take delight in approaching God, allow God to work on you

Obadiah  1:16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. The things of God are sacred and precious in His sight. The way you treat them is equally the way life treats you.  Those who have no reverence for the house of God nor His servants open the door to the devil to mal-treat them. This is why proverbs 4 advices us to guard our heart because where our treasure is, is where our heart is. And God has place these treasure in earthen vessels. In other words the heart of the body of Christ are the preachers.  So if the church doesn't guard their heart (preachers) with all diligence, out of that mistake shall produce the issues of life.
